A man has been taken into the care of the ambulance service after he suffered burns when a fork lift caught fire.
Crews were called to the fire at 12.44, in Marsh Road, Southminster.
One engine from Tillingham and one from South Woodham Ferrers attended the blaze.
Two hose reel crews were used to extinguish the fire by 1.48pm.
Crews gave first aid to one man who had suffered burns and then left him with the ambulance service.
