Crews called to 2,000 hay bale fire
Firefighters were called to a put out up to 2,000 hay bales which were on fire today.
Crews estimated there are a total of 4,000 hay bales, off Keelings Road in Southminster, half of which were on fire at about 3pm.
Crews from Tillingham, Great Baddow and Chelmsford attended.
UPDATE: A fire service spokesman said one crew will remain on the scene on Sunday morning to allow the fire to burn itself out.
A cause has not yet been established.
