EMERGENCY services rushed to a busy Maldon street after receiving reports of a medical emergency.
The East of England Ambulance Service went to the scene of an incident at around 11am this morning, May 31, after receiving reports of a 'medical emergency' in Maldon's High Street.
Both ambulance crews and Essex Police attended.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "We were called just before 11.20am to a medical emergency on the High Street in Maldon.
"An ambulance, rapid response vehicle and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.
"Sadly, despite the best efforts of the medical team, an adult man was pronounced dead at the scene."
