A dad who filmed his confrontation with a parking warden who was ticketing cars said his video has spread worldwide.
Chrisy Morris from Maldon took the five minute mobile phone footage outside Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, and posted it on Facebook.
Two parking wardens were ticketing three vehicles on a verge in Hospital Approach last Wednesday.
Double yellow lines ran alongside the verge, although the cars - none of which belonged to Mr Morris - were not parked on the lines.
Chelmsford City Council said the warden was right to ticket the cars.
A spokesman said: “A parking restriction will be valid from the centre of the highway and will also include the footways and grass verges provided they are also public highway.”
We have taken this video down at the request of Chelmsford City Council.
