A grateful pre-school is now able to buy replacement sheds thanks to generous donations.
Members of the Maldon Leo Club raised £400 to help Woodham Mortimer Pre-School afford two new sheds.
The pre-school is a pack-away pre-school based in the village hall and relies on storage sheds to house their toys, games and equipment.
Treasurer Jenny Shaw said: “Two of the sheds have become very dilapidated and with the wet weather this year many items were in danger of being ruined.
“Fundraising has been taking place all year and some local businesses and charities have made donations towards replacing the sheds but a generous donation of £400 from the Leo Club has meant that the larger shed is now on order."
