Lewis BELL On the 18th July 2015, Lewis from Maylandsea graduated from the University of Cambridge, having achieved a PhD in Molecular Biology based at the Babraham Institute. His project focused on how several proteins involved in the regulation of genes, help to control the development of our immune system. Lewis is now working at Cambridge University investigating other aspects of immune system development. The findings from this research should help provide understanding of diseases such as Leukaemia and Immunodeficiency. Congratulations Lewis, with lots of love from Mum, Dad and all the family. We are very proud of you xx.
