(Loamy Hill Road, Tolleshunt Major)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Loamy Hill Road, Tolleshunt Major in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Witham Road, north for a distance of approximately 300 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5 February 2012 and on 12 February 2012 (2 consecutive Sundays) or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to replace poles and cable is undertaken by BT Openreach. The alternative route will be via Maldon Road - Mill Road - Plains Road and vice versa. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 5 February 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 1 February 2012.
