(The Endway, Althorne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2011
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Endway, Althorne in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Dairy Farm Road for a distance of 230 metres in a westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 19 December 2011 for 3 days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst overhead cabling works and tree cutting is undertaken by BT.
The alternative route will be via Dairy Farm Road — B1018 Southminster Road —Burnham Road/Summerhill — The Endway and vice versa. Access for emergency service vehicles, buses and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 19 December 2011 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 14 December 2011<<p> Yim Kong, Assistant Director for Highways, County Hall, Chelmsford.
