Showing at the Cramphorn Theatre in Chelmsford next Tuesday is We Will Be Free, the true story of George and Betty Loveless and the Dorset farm labourers that were convicted for forming a trade union to fight wage cuts inflicted by a local landowner.
The inspirational story of the Tolpuddle Martyrs is told using theatrical style, puppetry, political cartoons and folk music.
It is on February 25 at 8pm. Tickets £12 and £10 concessions.
