A VILLAGE hall is giving people the chance to meet and interact with owls in a bid to raise funds.
An Evening with Owls, at Cold Norton Village Hall, is aiming to help boost funds for improvements to the playground at the hall.
The event will be held this Saturday (March 14) from 7pm until 10pm.
A spokesman said: “Up to seven different owls will be introduced to the audience by members of the UK Owl and Raptor Centre.
“Some are large and some very small!
“All the owls have been rescued, having previously been kept as pets or being orphaned.
“The handlers will be flying the owls in the hall and giving an educational and informative talk on the life of each bird.
“Having attended an event in Danbury, which was hosted by the UK Owl and Raptor Centre, I can say it was fascinating to watch the owls flying and to learn more about their lives.”
Admission to the event is £7 (£4 children, £20 family of four). For more details, call 07899 677310.
