1) Queen Victoria
Where: Spital Road, Maldon
What the reviews say: "Crikey !!! What a fabulous pub!! Genuinely just had a fantastic lunch and that’s not just one or a couple that was all 5 of us. I actually booked it on the strength of the reviews on here and can honestly say they are all spot on. It’s difficult to know where to give plaudits as everything is extremely good and that’s not an understatement. Absolutely beautiful pub, outside and inside, super clean and just a wonderful space to spend some time. The beer selection is very very good too. Staff are absolutely faultless in every way, friendly, kind, helpful. I could go on."
2) Cafe Brazil
Where: High Street, Maldon
What the reviews say: " I would definitely recommend. Sitting outside feels like you could be away on holiday. All of the staff are very kind and attentive, whilst social distancing and wearing masks. The food is lovely and reasonably priced, and if you like a cocktail, I would recommend trying the Caipirinhas!"

Where: High Street, The King's Head Centre, Maldon
What the reviews say: "There aren't enough words to express just how fabulous this restaurant truly is; we have visited a number of times now and each time we are overwhelmed with just how exceptional the food and ambience is. We stumbled across Dante'accidentallyly almost two years ago now and we were blown away with the quality of food, the presentation and attention to detail with each dish. Each mouthful is succulent, tasty and so very fresh. The environment is immaculate and the staff are second to none; we are always made to feel welcome and they go above and beyond to make each visit as special as the last.
4) Rubino Kitchen

5) Mrs Salisbury Famous Tea Rooms
Where: High Street, Maldon
What the reviews say: "It was absolutely beautiful. The tea, sandwiches, scones and cakes are first class and I would thoroughly recommend it. A low key, relaxed atmosphere with the quality one would expect from a high end hotel. Well done to Mrs Salisbury and her team."
