BLACKWATER TAI CHI

WI
Our December meeting started with our new president, Gill Rowsell, telling us that the Christmas Craft Fair was very successful again this year and made a good contribution to our local charity, Swans.
Then we were entertained by Ringtones, a barbershop quartet who not only sang beautiful songs but explained how their barbershop singing works, with each member giving a small recital and then joining the whole. They finished with an Irish blessing - very appropriate for Christmas. It was a lovely evening.
PARISH COUNCIL
Mundon Parish Council would like to announce that, in addition to the adoption of the Model Code of Conduct (dated February 20 2007), members have also adopted Clause 12 (2) of the revised Model Code of Conduct (public participation at Parish Council Meetings).
This means that the meeting does not need to adjourn for public comments.
Any councillor with an interest in a subject can sit with the public, speak first, then leave the room while further discussion takes place. They would also leave the room if a council vote on the matter took place.
