NEW jobs are up for grabs after the launch of a home care business.
Dorothy Nwankwo launched new business Home Instead bringing 50 jobs to South Woodham Ferrers.
The mother-of-four has always wanted to run her own business and will be joined by care manager and resident Susan Garrett.
The pair will bring home care services to elderly people in areas such as Woodham Ferrers, Rochford, Burnham, Maylandsea, Tillingham, Bradwell-on-Sea and surrounding towns and villages.
Dorothy said: " I have always wanted to set up my own business and this is a perfect way to do so - offering exceptional home care to our local older population, care we would want for our own family.
"I’ve seen the joy that those working in the care industry have, real pleasure and satisfaction derived from helping others and doing something that matters.
"Seeing my mother grow older and require extra help has only fuelled my desire to launch Home Instead, as I’m passionate that everyone should be able to access quality care services.
"Opening this business has been in my heart for years, and I’m so happy to finally begin."
