A HOST of stars are set to perform in Promenade Park this weekend with two fun-filled events lined up.
In The Park Concerts in partnership with Maldon District Council present Fantasia on Saturday from 12 midday to 11.30pm.
The event hosted by Joey Essex, Denise Van Outen, and presenters Martin & Su from Radio Essex, will see some of the biggest pop acts from the 1970s through to the 2000s take the stage.
These stars include Peter Andre, Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet, S Club, Five, and Gabrielle.
And Keith Duffy from Boyzone and Brian McFadden from Westlife will join forces to perform all their hit songs as Boyzlife.
Plus Spice Girls and George Michael tribute acts, Wannabe and Andre Browning.
There will be alcohol, soft drinks, coffee and tea sold throughout the day for festival-goers to refuel.
Free shuttle buses will be running all day from South Woodham Ferrers train station to Promenade Park.
Disney-style choreographed fireworks will bring the massive event to an end.
Then Sunday will see the first family-friendly festival to return to Essex.
The team behind Raver Tots promise the event will be bigger and better than ever.
The music festival which is exclusively for families with young children will draw crowds as 5,000 people are expected to atttend.
Sets from some of the biggest names in dance music include Artful Dodger, Judge Jules, Brandon Block, Heartless Crew, The Wideboys, Jaguar Skills, DJ Phantasy, and DJ Vibes.
Guinness World Record holder for the world's youngest club DJ will also perform.
DJ Archie picked up the prestigious title at a Raver Tots festival two years ago.
MC Alastair from Artful Dodger, said: "Raver Tots is the most innovative festival out there. It teaches kids about the importance of dance music and brings families together. Us being fathers of young kids, we love playing there and taking them along with us."
Activites for all the family will include a Peppa Pig Meet and Greet, free fun fair rides, soft play, face painting and arts and crafts.
Raver Tots founder Mike Pickets said: "Given the enormous appetite for the return of events, we felt it was only right to use the platform to raise awareness for a good cause. We are excited to have teamed up with an amazing charity - Brain Tumour Research. Like events, charities have also faced enormous challenges over the past year, so we aim to support the company in raising vital funds and raise awareness for something so important.
"It's been a long wait and a hard time for so many people, being able to party together and make memories through music will last a lifetime, we think it is going to feel more magical than ever."

Music at the event is kept at safe noise levels for children as every Raver Tots event is fully risk assessed by a qualified Health and Safety planning professional.
