A NEW feature is appearing at a Maldon market every Thursday offering eco-friendly pieces at affordable prices.
The sustainable stall is a new addition to the market in Butt Lane car park.
It sells environmentally-friendly jewellery and bags.
Barefoot Eco Shopping welcomed customers to its freshly opened stall at the end of July.
The stall is set up to find new owners for secondhand jewellery and bags.
The owner also aims to promote sustainability in Maldon.
They said: “The items I sell are being made more sustainable.
"New life is given, rather than it being ‘fast fashion’ which is so damaging to the environment.”
The market is open from 9am to 3pm on Thursdays, when customers can find the stall.
It is also open with some stalls on Saturdays.
More new stalls are said to be coming soon to the historic market.
