THE eagerly-awaited Burnham Carnival is set to go ahead next month.
Organisers have now revealed some of the festivities they have planned for the comeback.
Burnham Carnival is one of the most successful carnivals in the South-East.
Unfortunately, last year's event was cancelled due to the pandemic.

Now, planning is going well for this year's carnival.
A spokesman said: "Unfortunately the procession isn't happening, but we have lots planned with entertainment and stalls."
Dance groups Epic Dance and E and E dance along with Team Kintex, an illuminated juggler, and Greame Matthews from Britain's Got Talent, are among just a few to thrill spectators.
In the evening there will be live music with Livvy English, Craic Heads, Micheal Joslin, and T-Bone Steak performing from 6.30pm.
Characters in costume are also set to impress including Blackwater pirates, Essex cosplay, and Fairytale princesses, all walking around and helping children with fancy dress at 1.45pm.
"We also hope to have a gaming van, Delorean, police dogs, punch and judy, face painting and lots more."
"Some things still need finalising, but we are hoping that most things are in place."
The event will run from 10am until 9.30pm in the High Street, between Chapel Road and Riverside Road.
The spokesman added: "We know this year will be a bit different with no procession but we hope the people of Burnham will come out, support us and have a great day."
This year's Burnham Carnival is taking place on September 25.
