AN author is hoping to help those unlucky in love with his upcoming book release.
Self-help writer Liam Xavier, 26, is no stranger to love troubles.
He has never been in a long-term relationship but has been through his share of messy “situationships”.
This is where the inspiration for his third published book came from.
But his latest release of poetry and prose, How Love Begins, is not an average love book.
Liam said: “The idea is to present people who have struggled in love or have just gotten out of a tough relationship with a reason to not give up on love.
“Even those of us who haven’t had a typical experience or love, or keep tripping into situationships have reasons to smile.”
It features a mixture of some 90 poems with essays which explain each section further.
He released his debut poetry book Whispers to the World in 2018, and published his second during lockdown last year.
He was born in Braintree and moved to Maldon when he was five.
He later began writing and performing as it helped him to express his emotions.
He has since made a name for himself writing about mental health in various magazines.
The poet is now getting more into spoken word.
His first performance was at the Mercury Theatre in Colchester.
How Love Begins is set to be released on September 13, with a launch event planned the following day at Riding Wine Co in Ealing, London.
The event starts at 7pm.
