Police have reopened a road following a serious collision in Latchingdon which saw a man taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police remained on the scene at Maldon Road with the road being closed at its junction with Thatchers Croft after a collision involving two vehicles at 7.20am this morning.

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Now Essex Police say the man remains in hospital and his injuries are no longer life-threatening but are consider life-changing.
Maldon Road has also now reopened according to Essex Police.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We’d like to thank members of the public for their patience as we remain on the scene of a serious collision in Latchingdon.
"We were called at 7.20am this morning, Tuesday September 14, to reports that a motorcyclist and bin lorry had collided along Maldon Road.
"The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
"The road has now reopened. The motorcyclist remains in hospital with life-changing injuries, but his condition is no longer described as life-threatening.”
Police are appealing for information from anyone who was driving in the area at the time and who may have dashcam footage of the collision.
