A COMMUNITY is set to get into the Christmas spirit with a special festive event.
Bradwell-on-Sea is hosting a huge event for the holiday after many cancellations in the past 18 months.
Carol Hutton, of Bradwell Women’s Institute, said: “As our town show had to be postponed for the last couple of years, along with so many planned events due to Covid, we thought it would be a real feel-good factor to have a Christmas fair for our village and surrounding villages and towns.
“It will encompass the whole community and have a real coming together vibe.”
The Christmas fair is on November 27 from 2pm to 5pm at the village hall.
The fair will feature groups such as the WI, Rainbows and Brownies, Othona, Bradwell Bay United, RAF Bradwell Bay Preservation Group, and many others.
A Dickensian theme will see people dressing in costume.
Visitors can enjoy stalls, eco products and gifts, crafts and pottery, carol singing, mulled wine, mince pies, and other festive fun.
All festivities will be available for a “gold coin” donation of £1 or £2 coins.
