POPULAR fast food restaurant McDonald's Fullbridge has submitted plans to Maldon District Council.
Proposals include the installation of five new digital freestanding signs and one 15" digital booth screen.
Similar plans had been refused by the council last month.
An application from the chain's Maldon restaurant was submitted for advertisement consent for the installation of five new digital freestanding signs and a 15" digital booth screen.
These plans were refused by the council due to the number and size of the advertisements proposed and the "limited size" of the site.
It said the proposal would result in "visual clutter" and "an excess of advertisements" which would harm the character and appearance of the site.
The town council had recommended refusal of the previous application for similar reasons, adding plans would cause "overdevelopment of the site" due to the "excessive and dominant signage".
Maldon District Council will have the final say on this new application.
