A KEBAB manufacturer in Essex has been crowned the best supplier at the British Kebab Awards.
Kismet Kebabs Ltd, based in Latchingdon, has been manufacturing and supplying class quality kebabs all over UK and countries worldwide.
It operates from a purpose built factory on a massive six-acre site in the Dengie.
In a ceremony last Tuesday (October 26) for the British Kebab Awards 2021 the manufacturer was awarded Best Supplier of the Year.
The awards are run in association with Just Eat to recognise and champion the efforts of kebab takeaways and restaurants across the UK.
The neighbourhood kebab makers are voted for by residents.
As a reflection of the kebab industry’s contribution to the economy and culture, the awards welcome a range of celebrities, politicians and the nation’s industry workers for an evening of celebration.
The winners were announced by BBC Radio 1 DJs and presenters Scott Mills and Chris Stark in the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge Hotel.

Ibrahim Dogus, founder of the British Kebab Awards and director of the Kebab Alliance, said: "Following a very difficult 18 months for all those in the hospitality sector, it gave me great joy to see a full house of friends new and old, celebrating each other’s hard work and successes.
“I would like to congratulate all the winners, as well as all those that made it onto the shortlist.
"This year we were inundated with entries and the standard was unbelievable across the board. Thank you to everyone involved.”
