TICKETS are now available for a popular mid Essex mud race which raises money for charities.
This year's Maldon Mud Race was cancelled due to organisers' worries surrounding Covid-19.
The Maldon Mud Race team found themselves put in a "difficult situation" to organise the event while taking into consideration social distancing and uncertainty surrounding the Delta variant at the time.
It was set to take place on August 15 in Promenade Park.
The Maldon Mud Race has attracted huge crowds in an effort to raise money for charities in the area since the 1980s.
These charities include the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, Farleigh Hospice, Maldon and District Sea Cadets, Action for Family Carers, Brainwave, Little Havens Hospice, The Cinnamon Trust, Daniel Wilkinson Foundation and David Randall Foundation.
Its been confirmed the race will be back on April 24 2022 - and you can enter now.
Tickets cost £40 per person and can be bought online at maldonmudrace.com/enter.
People can also enter as a team of up to 8 members.
