A TEA room in the district has been handed the maximum food hygiene rating.
The Loft Tea Room in Tollesbury was given the five-out-of-five score after an assessment on November 12, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
The Loft - Tea By The Sea is set in the marina in Woodrolfe Road.
Its described as "a modern tearoom with a vintage feel".
And it is highly popular with 191 reviews on Trip Advisor and an overall five-star rating.

One reviewer, full of praise, said: "This is an off the beaten track place, but it is a real gem.
"My wife and her friend had afternoon tea here roughly a year ago (you have to book in advance if you are interested) and since then it has been a treat place for us ever since.
"Yes it may take a little longer than other places for food to arrive, but it is always fresh food and tastes amazing - I recommend the lunch platter.
"The cakes are sublime and I have always found it to be a quirky and comfortable place to go for tea and food."
Its new rating means of Maldon's 103 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 85 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
