AN award-winning boutique in Maldon has celebrated it’s expansion with a special grand opening.
The Bra Consultancy, a Maldon-based bra fitting boutique, re-launched with a new larger boutique in Edwards Walk Shopping Arcade last week.
The move comes after a continued expansion of the business despite all of the struggles small businesses have faced during the pandemic.
Maldon town mayor David Ogg and his wife Sharon were welcomed to the new shop's grand opening event.
Kayleigh Smith, marketing executive and fitting consultant at The Bra Consultancy, said: "We remained fully operational throughout the pandemic, even moving to virtual fittings when the shop had to close.
"We have come back following the lockdowns busier than ever, and so just needed a bigger boutique in order to be able to help each and every one of our amazing customers.
"We are forever being told that this is what Maldon needed, so are very happy and proud to have been able to expand and grow during what has been a really tough year.
"And its given us the most amazing reason to sit back and celebrate with a glass of bubbles with all our lovely customers."

The new shop is around four times the size of the original Bra Consultancy boutique, which has allowed the business to now stock swimwear all year round - perfect for winter getaways.
It is also now stocking a selection of pyjamas and other gifts ready for Christmas.
The expansion into a larger premises has also meant the company have finally been able to build its Mastectomy/Reconstruction Suite for ladies during and after their breast cancer journey.
Kayleigh added: "This will allow us to not only spend more time but have more space for the consultations, so that we can really give our ladies the VIP treatment that they deserve.
"We are so proud to say that our official re-launch last week was a huge success.
"We are very much looking forward to welcoming everyone into our new home for many years to come."
