AN author has received a rave review by a BBC Essex presenter for his latest novel.
With Covid-19 still prevalent this year, Maldon writer Patrick Forsyth found time to complete his fourth novel.
The book – Once A Thief – follows main character Tracy Hines as she finds herself faced with a puzzle which could change her life.
BBC Essex radio presenter and writer Tony Fisher said: “Once again Patrick gives us charming characters who are in a world of trouble. A twisty plot that has you guessing till the final page.”
Speaking about his new book, Patrick said: “I think, like most fiction writers, I find the starting point of a novel somewhat mysterious.
“Ideas come and go. Most lead nowhere, but mulling them over eventually sees a combination of character and events settle into a story that seems to work.
“Writing can be a frustrating yet satisfying process – more so if you succeed in getting published.
“More so still if people like your book. In this case I very much hope they do.”
Once A Thief is available, priced £8.99, from Maldon Books, Amazon and signed at patrickforsyth.com.
