REVELLERS are left disappointed as a New Year event at Langford's Museum of Power has been cancelled.
The tourist attraction was set to hold a New Years Day 'crank up' of the engines.
Saturday's event was set to be the first crank up of the year after the long winter nights of December and also included 'wassail' - the blessing of the fruit trees.
Unfortunately due to many of its entertainers having to pull out due to Covid, the museum has had to cancel the wassail side of the event.
However the museum will still be open with engines running.
'Marshall' the Lilleshall pumping engine and some other engines will be running on compressed air and Astaria model village will be open, but the miniature Railway will not be running.

The cafe will be open and there will be a bar for seasonal alcoholic drinks.
Dogs on leads are welcome.
