A BUSY road was partially blocked after a car fire near a pub.
The A414 in Danbury was partially blocked in both directions following a car fire near The Bell pub.
Drivers reportedly experienced long delays.

The incident has been cleared and traffic is now light on the road according to Google Maps.

Essex Fire and Rescue Service were called to the fire which was in the open in Elm Green Lane at 1.02pm.

On arrival, crews confirmed that a van was 100 per cent alight.
Firefighters used 2 hose reels and extinguished the fire in less than 30 minutes.
The crew manager on the scene confirmed the fire had started in the engine and spread to the remainder of the vehicle.
