FIREFIGHTERS rushed to the scene of a car up in flames at the weekend.
Essex Fire and Rescue Service was were called to Goldsands Road in Southminster on Saturday, February 5 at 10.05pm.
On arrival, crews from Tillingham Fire Station reported there was a single car "100 per cent alight" positioned close to a wood stack which was also "25 per cent alight".
The firefighters used two hose reels to extinguish the fire and left the scene by 12.53am.

A spokesman for Tillingham Fire Station said: "We worked quickly to bring the fire under control and stop it from spreading."
Essex Fire and Rescue Service has more than 500 on-call firefighters and most on-call stations are currently recruiting.
