The site is currently the office, research and development, storage and assembly base of the business.
In a statement, the applicant's agent says: "The business is in fans, motors and controls engineering components as well as some assembly serving the agricultural and commercial sector.
"The intention is to provide additional storage space for goods in and distribution at the existing premises.

"The business has continued to grow."
The proposal adds an area for immediate protection of goods arriving, an increased goods inwards area to allow a "more logical and better 'flow' of work" and an increased storage area to allow a shorter response time in distribution.
These plans are a resubmission of a similar application which has been revised as the applicant now wishes to "maintain external fork lift access to the rear of the site".
Maldon District Council will rule on the application.
