POLICE are appealing for information after a man was allegedly seen hitting a dog with a shoe.
It was reported a man was seen walking down Station Road in Burnham at around 3.10pm on January 28.
He was seen with a black dog with white markings on his nose, paws and a white line on its chest.

The man is described as white, in his 30s to early 40s, stocky, with short hair and wearing a white top, black or grey tracksuit bottoms and black Lyle and Scott sliders on.
He was reported to have struck the dog on his back with a shoe.
The man was seen heading from the top of Station Road near Burnham Baker towards the Oyster Smack Inn and Tesco Express.
Anyone who saw anything or has any CCTV, dash cam, or doorbell footage is asked to contact police.
