A PASSIONATE artist from Burnham is set to unveil her new exhibition in a pub for free.
Burnham resident Tracy Saunders has been painting for more than twenty years and is very involved in the art community in the town.
She volunteers with schools on projects, including the millennium mosaic on the Quay and the Ormiston school mural, and helped set up the popular Burnham Art Trail.
She paints watercolours of buildings, boat yards, allotments and barns in the area.
Now, she is set to show her most recent work at the Purleigh Bell pub.
The exhibition concentrates on the shoreline boats which have been abandoned, some more complete and recognisable than others.
Tracy's artwork records the process of ageing and weathering.
She said: "I enjoy walking, especially out on the salt marshes and along the coastline where there is more sky and sea than land, and nature is undisturbed.
"Perhaps that is why among this open landscape it is the unexpected sight of man-made objects that stand out, catching my eye and making me reach for my paint brush."
Her exhibition, Shoreline, can be seen in the first-floor gallery of the Purleigh Bell Pub from Friday, March 4 until Sunday, April 3.
