MALDON Carnival is set to host the return of its popular Easter bonanza after two years.
After two years out due to Covid, the carnival is bringing back its Easter festivities in Heybridge.
Activities such as an egg hunt, arts and crafts, a variety of stalls and a visit from the Easter Bunny will all be taking place on King Edward’s Field at Plantation Hall from 10am to 3.30pm.
Youngsters can solve puzzles scattered around the field and take part in an egg and spoon race to receive an Easter treat.

Tickets for the Easter egg hunt, which runs from 10am to 3pm at the event on April 2, cost £4 per child.
They can also join in making arts in crafts in the hall, with tickets costing £3.50 each.
Due to the popularity and limited spaces available, all arts and crafts participants must pre-book.
A spokesman for Maldon Carnival said: "Why not come along and join in the fun and at the same time help raise funds for Maldon Carnival Procession."
