The candidates hoping get onto Maldon District Council in the upcoming Heybridge West by-election have been revealed
NOMINATED people who are hoping to get onto Maldon District Council have been revealed.
The candidates for the Heybridge West by-election taking place on Thursday, April 14 have been revealed.
They include:
Independent
- Simon Burwood, from Heybridge
- Richard Perry, from Langford
Conservative
- Nigel Miller

Liberal Democrat
- Paula Spenceley, from Heybridge
Labour Party
- Matthew Wallis-Keyes, from Great Totham
Former Heybridge West councillor Chrisy Morris was removed as a member of Maldon District Council on February 28 after he was handed a suspended sentence.
Morris was sentenced to 8 months imprisonment, suspended for 18 months, in Chelmsford Crown Court after a jury found him guilty of breaching a non-molestation order.
