A NURSERY has hosted one of its biggest fundraising events ever to keep the school open.
Great Totham Nursery held a free Easter fair on the village hall's cricket grounds on Saturday.
This was its first large event since the start of the Covid pandemic two years ago.
The nursery is a registered charity which is committee-led and relies on fundraising to stay open.
Due to financial loss last year organisers were hoping for a great turnout at its return event.

Villagers didn't disappoint as the committee's new chair Heidi Battson said it was an "amazing success" and one of its biggest fundraising events.
A total of £1,588.71 was raised for the charity at what Heidi says was a typical big fair.
There was something for all to enjoy with 25 stalls, bouncy castles, catering vans and lots of activities for children.
It also had sweet treats from Sugar and Roses Bakes, Mrs Buckle's bookshop and the usual fair games.
Adults enjoyed a vintage mobile bar from Tipsy Bubbles and treatments from Revive Beauty Lounge.
Other catering vans which attended included Maria's Kitchen and The Iceberg.
Youngsters could also meet children's author Rebecca Mills as well as ponies.
