A STUDENT with "an amazing future" has released her first book at just 15 years old.
Kay Tyler, a year 11 student at Plume Academy in Maldon, has published her first short book on Amazon and has received high praise from her teachers.
The blurb reads: "£7 is the story about a young girl who is tired of living society’s norms and runs away to explore her mind and the world.
"It is written from her perspective as she documents her story on her phone, in the story we see the way society is making her think and how her experience's change or modify it."
The tale already has a five star rating on the online shop.
