AN event to crown the next carnival queen and princesses in Burnham has been announced.
Burnham Carnival is set to return in September after the success of last year's event.
And organisers are searching for the next carnival queen and princesses.
It will be hosting the crowning event in Carnival Hall, Burnham-on-Crouch, on June 10 at 7pm.
Friends and family are also wlecome to attend the event to see their loved ones be crowned.
The successful carnival queen will also win £200.

The winning queen and princesses will need to do about seven carnivals a year.
Entrants for carnival queen must be 16 years old by September and live in Burnham or Southminster.
Princesses should also be from either areas and need to be in Years 5 or 6 from September.

Forms should be returned to Anne Fagg in 100 Maple Way, Burnham-on-Crouch, or take it with you to Carnival Hall on the night of the ceremony.
