A CARE home got into the jubilee spirit, celebrating the event in style with an afternoon of fun.
Waterside Home Care, in Mayland, hosted an afternoon tea jubilee party, inviting residents and their families and friends to join in the celebrations.
Manager and owner Sharon alongside office manager Connie organised the event for several weeks in advance.
Live music, food and refreshments, and a raffle were held for residents at the Star pub in Steeple.
A spokesman for the care home said: “It was a lovely day, full of eating, dancing, singing and chatting, and we were so glad everyone could make it.
“We would like to thank the Star for letting them host their party at their pub as well as the local businesses who donated raffle prizes including the Jolly Fryer and Savages, Chemist in Burnham on Crouch, All Season, Nisa, and All Occasions in Maylandsea, New Look in Wickford, and the carers who donated as well. It was much appreciated.”
