A FAMILY festival is being held with activities and entertainment in aid of charity.

Aoife’s Bubbles Charity is hosting an assault course challenge which includes a 220ft inflatable at the event.

There will be more than 50 stalls for all ages to enjoy.

There will be story-telling in the natural fairy garden, Paw Patrol characters, a picnic area, Shetland pony and children’s fairground rides and inflatables.

For the adults, there will be axe throwing and fun inflatables.

Families can get involved in crazy golf and more on the day.

The charity is the UK’s only childhood cancer charity which raises awareness of germ cell cancer in children.

The charity was set up in memory of Aoife Flanagan, who was diagnosed with Germ Cell cancer and died aged three in 2019.

Aoife’s Bubbles Charity raises awareness and educates people about the symptoms, diagnosis and the effects of the disease.

They also hope to fund vital research into the genetics of solid tumours.

The charity family festival is on Saturday, July 9, at the Museum of Power from 10am until 3pm.
