DRIVERS could experience delays when a town centre road closes next month.
Mill Road, in Maldon, is scheduled to shut on September 13.
The road will close for three days from its junction with Wantz Road to its junction with Park Drive.
The closure is required while electrical work is carried out by UK Power Networks.
Access for pedestrians will be maintained.

Essex Highways said: "The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
"An alternative route is available via Wantz Road, High Street, Mill Road or Park Drive, Mundon Road, Wantz Road.
"Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure."
