A SCHOOL has had multiple students achieve top marks in their GCSE exams.
The Sandon School in Chelmsford has congratulated students for their results today. The school have chosen to congratulate the following students for their achievements.
• Ruth B, who achieved grade 9 in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Literature, English Language, History, Drama and Music, in addition to grade 8 in French and Maths.
• Preet G who achieved grade 9 in Biology, Physics, English Language, French and Maths, in addition to grade 8 in Geography, Chemistry, Computer Science, English Literature, and Sociology
• Adam P who achieved grade 9 in Biology, Chemistry, History, Maths, Business Studies. Grade 8 in Physics and French, in addition to grade 7 in English Language, English Literature and Level 2 Merit in IT.
A spokesperson from the school said: “We would like to congratulate all our students for the outstanding results they have achieved despite the disruption to their studies caused by the pandemic. Grades have been strong across all subject areas.”
The schools headteacher, Andy Weaver has said that he is “delighted with this year’s GCSE results.”
He has commended all students for their efforts and has wished them well for their next steps in education.
