A NURSERY has been rated as outstanding in all areas in its recent Ofsted report.
Half Pint Nursery in Pump Lane, Purleigh was praised in its Ofsted report for the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development and the leadership and management.
The report states that “children appear extremely happy and show very high levels of engagement.”
Children are taught about hygiene, healthy eating and manners and were said to have communicated respectfully with each other and the staff.
The Ofsted inspector said that staff are “excellent role models” and the “atmosphere inside and outside is gentle and extremely busy as children engage wholeheartedly in learning and having fun".
It was said that children are encouraged to be independent and “behave extremely well and respond quickly to prompts from staff”.
Elizabeth Romero, head of the nursery, said: “I am extremely proud of all the practitioners who are totally dedicated to the children, providing high-quality education and care.
“The EYFS Framework was updated in September 2021 therefore Ofsted judgments of outstanding are much more demanding.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank my duty mangers Jo and Lisa for their support.”
