A military whist drive was held in the village hall on the last Wednesday of March with four tables in play. AC Clark was the MC.The table winners were Mrs Pat Clark, Miss Rita Ellis, Mrs Hilda Grafer and Basil Eves; John and Janet Huggins, Mrs Sylvia Brown and Malcolm Booty; Ann and Trevor Matthams, Miss Sue Vale and Arthur Clark.Winners of other prizes were Trevor Matthams, Arthur Clark and Mrs Janet Huggins.
