The next meeting of the Purleigh Quilters is today at 9.30am-12.30pm in Purleigh village hall.
CROQUET CLUB
Purleigh Croquet Club starts the new season on today. The session runs from 10am to 1pm and visitors are warmly welcomed.
Mallets can be hired for a playing day for 50p and if you wish, you can be helped by one of the club members, you can attend for three sessions as a visitor, before you are asked to join the club.
Croquet is a very social game, played in a friendly atmosphere and also good exercise, plus there is a tea break when you can chat to other players. For more information ring John Carney on 850254.
ANNUAL MEETING
The Vestry and Annual Meeting of All Saints Church, Purleigh will be held in the Cock Clarks Room at 8pm tonight. Everyone on the Electoral Roll is entitled to attend and vote at this meeting.
Refreshments will be served after the meeting.
The Annual Parish meeting will be held in the village hall at 7.30pm on Thursday April 24.
Reports will be given by the parish Council, the District Council, the School, the local Police, the Playing Field Association and Purleigh Educational Foundation. Parishioners are welcome.
