DRIVERS face diversions when a road is scheduled to close this month.
Main Road in Mundon is set to close on October 27.
It will close from its junction with Wood Lane in a north-westerly direction.
The road, which forms part of the route to reach Latchingdon, will be closed for one day.
Roadworks on the site are going to be conducted by Openreach.
Essex Highways said: "The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
"An alternative route is available via Main Road, Burnham Road, Fambridge Road, Limebrook Way, Limebrook Way roundabout and vice versa."
