CHILDREN at a nursery are enjoying new toys outdoors following donations from a business.
Half Pint Nursery, in Purleigh, has received a donation of games from Taylor Wimpey.
The home construction company bought the games for a platinum jubilee celebration at the Handley Gardens development in Limebrook Way and wanted to donate them.
Members of the Taylor Wimpey sales team handed the toys to the children and joined in with some fun and games.
The housing developers hope to continue contributing towards community facilities and infrastructure in the area.
The nursery, which holds an outstanding Ofsted grade, is just a minute drive away from the development and was grateful for the donation.
Nursery head Elizabeth Romero said: “Outdoor games are really important for all of our children.
“They help advance the child's problem-solving abilities and initiate creative thinking among them.

“They also develop social skills and encourage listening habits when they interact with their friends.
“Our children are our number one priority and we are thankful for Taylor Wimpey's donation.”
Alex Greaves, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey, said: “It’s always a pleasure to support the communities close to where we build.
“We are so thrilled to hear that the games will not only help the children's development but will also provide them with some much-needed enjoyment.”
