A CHRISTMAS carol service will be held for residents to enjoy the Christmas spirit together as a large tree is lit up in the centre of a village.
Tiptree Parish Council will be hosting a Christmas Carol Concert following the success of last year's event.
Last year’s service saw about 300 people in attendance as well as saxophonists and Baynards Primary School pupils singing carols.
The council has invited schools to attend the concert as carollers as well as the saxophonists for their return.
Residents crowded together in the field opposite the Original Factory Shop to sing carols together last year and the council are hoping for the same success this year.
