A NURSERY is relishing in its success since its grand opening to the public.
Jesters opened their Montessori Inspired Nursery School in September.
The nursery, for children aged from two-and-a-half to four years old, is based in the Old School House - a historic Victorian building in Danbury.
Since opening in September, staff and children have immersed themselves in the autumn weather and nature.
Forest-led learning has encouraged children to collect acorns, leaves and conkers, for leaf rubbing and collage.
Children have also enjoyed visits to the library for story and rhyme time as part of the nursery’s supported language development and literacy project.
They have also used information technology to join the library, promoting confidence and independence, and linking to science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

A spokesman said: “The complete transformation, both inside and out, provides a calm, contemporary, Montessori-led and totally child-dedicated setting, and we are fully training our team in a Montessori inspired approach, making both education and play an absolute pleasure for your child.
“We’re all geared up for learning and fun, and our inspiring teacher Miss Reynolds and team Montessori have so many wonderful opportunities ready for your child to experience."
The nursery holds a free 'stay and play' every Tuesday from 10am to 11am.
