A BUSY road is set to close for nearly two weeks while structural repairs are carried out.
Blue Mills Hill from Wickham Bishops to Witham is set to close for 12 days.
The road will be closed from Monday, March 6, for the safety of the public and workforce, while repair works are completed.
A spokesman for Essex County Council said: “The order is to temporarily close that length of Blue Mills Hill, Witham/Wickham Bishops in the Districts of Braintree and Maldon, from a point approximately 60m west of the junction with Ishams Chase for a distance of approximately 30m in a westerly direction."
Traffic will be diverted via Blue Mills Hill, Maldon Road, Station Road, Langford Road, Witham Road, Langford Road Roundabout, Maypole Road, The Street and vice versa.
