A MALDON community of over-50s raised funds for the Alzheimer's Society during a quiz night.
Happy Hearts Exercise community for over-50s in Maldon, Heybridge, Wickham Bishops, Great Baddow and Woodham Ferrers held a quiz night to raise funds for Alzheimer's Society.
The exercise club helps men and women keep active and healthy and gives them a chance to socialise.
The club was able to raise £820 for those suffering from dementia.
The quiz had more than 80 people taking part and was held at West Maldon Community Centre.

Quizmaster Graham Raven kept the energy up throughout the event and a special raffle was held for those who wanted to support the charitable goal.
The quiz offered surprising prizes like lemons for the lowest-scoring team and pineapples for the winners.
The club has previously hosted a Christmas Jumper Week to support Save Children UK charity in which they raised around £200.
