A LIFE-SAVING charity is inviting residents for an evening filled with popular brass band music.
Maldon RNLI has organised an evening of live music to raise funds forequipment and resources.
RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour rescue service in the UK and Ireland, and its seasonal lifeguards look after people on busy beaches.
Crews and lifeguards have saved more than 142,700 lives since 1824, but are more than just a rescue service.
Community safety teams explain the risks and share safety knowledge with anyone going out to sea or to the coast.
The organisation also works with like-minded businesses to help tackle drowning in at-risk communities worldwide.
